Matthew R. Greisler joined Graham Holdings Company in May 2017 as Director of Corporate Finance. He was named treasurer in 2019 and is responsible for the treasury and financial planning and analysis (FP&A) functions of the Company.
Prior to joining Graham Holdings Company, Greisler was at American Capital, Ltd., a publicly-traded private equity firm, where he led the FP&A group and supported numerous strategic initiatives. He was a key member of the finance team that raised nearly $10 billion of debt and equity capital and successfully completed the merger of American Capital and Ares Capital Corporation.
Greisler earned a BA in finance and accounting from the University of Maryland and a Master of Accounting degree from Western Governors University. He is a CFA charterholder and a certified treasury professional. Greisler is also a member of the CFA Institute, the CFA Society of Washington, DC and the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP).
